 Weapons and props mining nears completion...



Amazing what one can do with some mismatched hardware items, a dremel tool and some cheap-ass Chinese and Pakistani knock-off weapons.

The short sword was the single most important prop I wanted to get right for N80. Even in the 80's I hated the dubious "ninja-to" straight-bladed swords that were homogenous to the American flicks.



Not only is the very historical existence of these swords highly questionable, but the notion that such a "utility field mission sword" would have a high-end sharkskin handle with ornate wrapping, gold fixtures, and a polished blade defies even the most bullshit ninja myth logic.
