Today started bad and just keeps getting worse.

This morning I had to go to campus to buy a parking permit.  I left my place around 8:30 and didn't get back until almost noon.  First, I couldn't find the building.  The name wasn't on the side that faced the street, it was though on the back of the building by the loading dock.  Then all the parking that I could find was restricted.  I drove forever through what felt like a million parking lots and finally found one that had 3 metered spaces.  I was finally ready to go stand in a line that wrapped around the building to buy a permit (the only people that have to buy a permit in person on the special/problem cases so each one takes forever).  The one good thing today was that I was able to buy a staff permit instead of a student one so that I have better parking access.

As I'm driving around the tire pressure alarm keeps going off.  When I get done with the permit, I check the pressure.  The left rear tire is supposed to be at 32psi and it was all the way down to 24psi so I head over to Sears thinking that I must have driven over something and it would be a quick, inexpensive fix.  Oh was I wrong.  I did drive over something--a big nail.  Mr. nail however punctured the tire on the sidewall, not on the tread so the tire couldn't be repaired.  GREAT!  But it get's better.  Because the RX8 is such a "rare and specialized" car they don't stock the tires and it would take them 2 weeks to get them in.  FUCK! I can't wait that long.  So I go to the nearest Mazda dealership.  They didn't have the tires either, but while checking the guy decided to call me a stupid faggot to his buddy (if he didn't want me to hear while he's behind the wall, he really needs to talk quieter).  The soonest I can get the tires repaired is the 21st.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do between now and then because I don't have any choice but to drive the car but doing so runs the risk of damaging the rim.
