Why do I support Barack Obama? He is one of the greatest orators and writers of our time, proving his literacy and charming his audience. A far cry from MacBush. Obama has had a life journey he does not deny, he does not put behind him, he does not compromise his past for his campaign-- or his campaign for his past. He seems so genuine, I trust him and his words. He is listening, he is trying, his insight into the war before it began shows his ability to use intuition, which cannot be underestimated. He believes in diplomacy, he wants to sit people down. I almost have to believe Iran does not want to get into a political, agressive, military mess with us right now because they understand MacBush is a lame duck and we may-- just may-- get our diplomat. I don't care that Obama hasn't been in office that long, I think that's what is needed in these times. Someone young, energetic, enthusiastic and wise beyond their years. I am putting faith into the intelligence, compassion, and energy of Barack Obama. I am a supporter.
I look up to Obama. As a first year teacher, I am seeing my own worth in being the young, energetic, always-wanting-to-do-the-right-thing kid. I am looking for new ways, trying to do new things, shaking up the way we do things. I am on my own revolutionary path, and I want to come together in a political revolution. Let's do it!
