  • PostSecret

    I know Dan's (TheTheologiansCafe) not posting, so I thought I would just share my favorite from PostSecret today.

    In other news, I'm waiting to hear if my best friend, Natalie, is engaged.  I suspect it may be happening today since her boyfriend is leaving for the Air Force basic training on Tuesday.  I've got my fingers crossed!

    Hopefully he asks her.

    @TheTheologiansCafe -

    It's showing up for me now... strange. I'm not real adept at this photo/video thing on Xanga.

    Maybe I am just a retard because I am not seeing it. (You are a teacher so instead of retard I should just call myself "special").

    It's being finnicky & not working. You're so right.

    I just think the farting while walking thing is too funny. I can identify with that old lady! :) lol

    Dear Katie,

    The photo doesn't show up. The link you provide does, however. Embedding a photo is pretty easy on Xanga. There are two ways.

    1. From a link: When you are in the editor mode, switch to "photos". There are three prompts, Upload, Browse, and Link. Your photo is on another site, so choose "Link". Enter the URL or address of the photo in the box provided, and click "submit". The photo should show up. Make sure you don't have two "http://" prefixes. Xanga puts this in the window already. (Although I just tried it with the link above, I can't get the picture to show either,  so Xanga is possibly screwed up. It wouldn't be the first time. So if you did what I just pointed out, it is not your fault that the photo isn't showing up for us.

    2. From your computer: Save the photo to your puter, and from the Xanga editor screen click "upload" and browse for the jpg on your hard drive. Click submit. The photo is uploaded to your blog. Click the "Choose" button next and the photo should show up on the thumbnail selector. Click it and it should show up on your blog.

    I just tried with other photos on the web and the "link" page does work, but not with your photo. Maybe something in the URL is prohibiting it from being embedded.
