it feels like fall in L.A., doesn't it? the weather is warm with a hint of coolness. not only that, i see purple trees all around the city. i have come to love those jacaranda trees. it's like leaves changing colors in the fall, except rather than oranges, reds and yellows, we get the purple version in the summer.

will and i got to hang out with our friend blas last weekend. he's half korean, obsessed with thomas the train, and too much fun. i think i finally made it into his memory bank because when i walked in the door last week he ran to me shouting "auntie bo!". total highlight of the week.
