  • Today at about 4:40 p.m. I got to see Ashleigh roll over from her stomach to her back!  Yay.  My baby girl is growing so fast.

  • So both Ashleigh and I are sick. I have bronchiolitis and slight pneumonia.  Ashleigh has an ear infection and a slight upper respiratory infection.  So please pray for us to get better!

  • So I never realized before how hard it is to take care of a baby when you're sick.  I've been sick all weekend with a terrible cough, runny nose, fever and sore throat.  But since Cory is working I am having to take care of Ashleigh too.  So I now have new found respect for my parents that took care of us all those times when they were sick.  I never thought being a parent was going to be easy, but there are so many things that I never even considered. But that's ok.  I love Ashleigh so very much and would do anything for her.  She is definitely my little princess.

  • Well today was my first day back to work after 9 weeks of maternity leave.  It was really hard for me to leave her.  I missed her so much, but at least she is at the same daycare I work so I was able to see her during my lunch break.  And my day went by really smoothly, I only had 8 of my usual 14 here today and got a decent nights sleep because Ashleigh slept from 9:30 last night and I had to wake her up this morning to get her ready for school.  One thing did happen today, when I was walking with her to the car after work I slipped and fell because the parking lot was so icy.  I got a little hurt(I scraped my knee and my hand), but she didn't.  The fall just scared her a bit.  So if you could, please keep us in your prayers that the rest of this week goes smoothly.
