I had my fun making fun of married people for the last few days. I am going to challenge my single friends Joe and Music_turned_Human to a challenge.

What would be the hardest freedom to give up it you had to get married?

if i "had" to get married... i would have a hard time giving up..... my freedom... not that i wouldnt be free, i just wouldnt be able to just get up and go whenever, whereever, i wanted to. not that i wouldnt be able to do what i wanted, its just that there is more responsibility once married. such as, planning ahead, telling them what and were i'm going, chore and responsibilities that someone would be upset if i put off, but if I put it off for just ME then who cares? it would be doing the plans of two people, instead of one. of course if i were to get married, I would make it clear that we BOTH had lives before we got married and we should be able to respect that and i would still go to starbucks with my friends whenever i wanted.... within reason!

i'd do a longer, better post, but i am going camping this weekend right after work so cant... sorry!!!!!

oh... and i would have to give up eating candy for dinner, most guys aren't satisfied by that!

And I am headed for a singles' get together. Do you realise that if I leave a sock on the floor, it stays there till I pick it up and no one gets mad. I also don't have to pick up someone else's sock.

Well after this weekend I’ve come to enjoy being able to make a decision by myself. I like having people over my house and I can at anytime without getting approval. I make the decision, and I can. No asking. I have nothing against marriage, but I really do see freedom in marriage. I may cross the line someday, who knows. But I’ll enjoy being single now.

If I had to get married I'd have to give up the wife I'm married to now, and that wouldn't be worth it. So I guess I'm not going to be getting married any time soon.
