I had a strange idea this morning. I am not sure I could pull it off.

I am going to put the challenge to you.

What would you think if you saw somene like me pushing a cart around Walmart with Bernie in the child's seat? Would you think I was a crazy lady? Would you talk to the crazy lady?

I have wondered what the lady at the fruitstand in Waterproof thought as I posed Bernie with the peaches and then later with MsB in the melons.

I am not crazy, but I just kind of wonder.

A friend and I frequent Wal-mart, I'm sure there is more than one person there that thinks we're craxy, so I'd think it was just...cute, and then smile nicely and say, Have a nice Day!

I would not think you were strange! My Laney bought a bicycle helmet with jelly beans all over it and wore it home from Walmart one time. No, I wouldn't think a thing about it!

I think it is really neat that you feel proud to bring your friends with you as you shop...I bet you make alot of new friends (4 ft and below) huh?

I wouldn't think to much about it UNLESS you started talking to it like a child...lol. Then I'd really think you were crazy if you started answering back for it.

I think it would depend on whether you had him strapped in or not.

I talk to everyone, but I'm sure some people would wonder......does it matter what they think? If so, keep Bernie in the car or at home; if not, take him where ever you want. It's really up to you. Just remember, you are loved with or without your companions. And believe me, if that is the craziest thing you do, then you're doing pretty good! I've personally done things WAY crazier than that!!!!

If I was "being Danish" I would totally ignore you, but if I was being me, I would probably ask you something like, "Who's your friend?" and we would start talking. I am sure Bernie enjoyed the outing to the fruit stand! We are planning a big get together at the Starbucks up in Heaven in about 100 years. Are you in? :- )
