I know this is going to shock my faithful readers.

But I had to do it.

Cause see my brother and nephew stopped by on their way from Kentucky to Texas.

My nephew called when they were a hundred miles away and asked me if I would.

What is a good aunt suppose to do?

So I did it.

I cooked.

I made my famous, "Let's See What is in the Pantry" soup

They both had two big bowls full.

No one died or got sick.

ryc ~ I think you're right......I'm laughing already  :o)

I'm impressed with your cupboard contents.  My soup would be Angel Food soup or Brownie soup or Pineapple Chunks soup or sugar-free Jello soup or Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread soup.......I think I'm going to make that Quick Bread.

Your brother and nephew are out of luck.

Some of my best dishes come from pantry, freezer & fridge cleanings. Every meal is a new adventure! It is a bit difficult to recreate anything that way, though...

So what was in it? That is kind of like my veggie stew... it varies according to what veggies I happen to have on hand... lol.. I keep those odd one serving leftovers of meat in the freezer and that makes a kick butt soup too...

You are aware that some foods don't react immediately so  are you sure they are out of danger??

My personal chef is famous for making soup out of left overs in the refrigerator..sometimes it turns out to be an interesting concoction!!  Lets see what do we have left to make soup out with??   How does ham, pinnapple stuffing, aspargus, quiche, waffle soup sound??

I just moved some of the furniture back in place and guess what?  There were rubber bands under the sofa, tables and I even found one under the sofa cushion.  I wonder what rubber band soup would taste like.

Thank you for your consistent and encouraging commenting on my blog. I don't get around Xanga to leave comments very often because using screen reading software makes it more time consuming than sighted access. I think it would be a big mistake to let Buster use the phone! LOL! Before you know it, a tuna truck would be showing up at your door.... or maybe a seafood pizza! All teasing aside, I am sure when you want to, you can cook a great meal!
