Tuesday afternoon obligo-blog. Today we learned about XSD, which is a schema for XML documents. We spent most of the morning trying to figure out why our schema, which was almost working, wasn't. Then we learned that maxOccurs defaults to 1 if not specified, and not infinity, as we'd presumed. Sigh.
Lessee, what else. Worried about Beth, of course. Thing is, I can't expect her to be perky all the time, and it's normal for her to have emotions, especially after a very stressful trip. I suspect she suppressed a lot of the anxiety and now it's coming out, on top of all the usual stresses of work. Well, at least we're not likely to be moving anytime soon.
Tonight, we shall have Thai peanut oink-oink, and wild rice, and we shall watch the penultimate episode of "Buffy". Wow. Seven years of vampire slaying -- one of the longest running SF/Fantasy shows not called "Star Trek", and one of the best written. The number of programs I actually want to watch on TV continues to dwindle. I haven't been hooked on a new sitcom in years. I am enjoying the reruns of CSI that TiVo gets for us. And there's Iron Chef. Firefly was the only new program this season I got "into", and, well, we saw what happened to that.
