From the "And Thanks For All The Fish" department, it appears the Navy may have accidentally released armed, trained, killer dolphins into the wild. And don't think they've forgotten all those tuna nets...

So there's this storm coming right? The dolphins might get out? I got this great idea lets /arm/ our dolphins with LIVE ammunition after securing them in a safe place. The fact that they were still training them and, more improtantly, that the dolphins weren't on active missions means the most they might have is the Navy equivalent of a Nerf gun.
Cute story, highly improbable.
I'm amused by what is cited as highly improbable-- NOT that Bush's little tin soldiers have a budget for playing Day of the Dolphin with random mammals that each have a higher IQ than FEMA does, collectively. But that they'd be left alone in a storm with live ammo.
I think there was a huge budget, unexaminable by Congress, for these dolphins to be trained to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists. And these dolphins are better at their job than anybody in the Bush administration is at theirs, from bottom to top, not that there is anybody competent to beat these morons in an honest election.
