  In other news...

  I have ~5K free on my major credit card. Due to a typo when I was paying bills last month, I underpaid by 16 dollars. This is my first payment error in two years. This was enough for them to suspend the card. They then wanted 15.00 MORE to make the payment by phone. I convinced them to waive that, at least. Augh!

  So. Communism. On the one hand, about 100 million dead each under Stalin and Mao. On the other hand...no credit card companies. On the gripping hand...dealing with the bureaucracy is just as frustrating, and they can send you to the gulag. But still...no credit card companies..
