Meanwhile, in the real world, Beth's computer just up and died. Something Bad happened last night, and now it refuses to get past the 'loading Windows' screen. We've got a Vista boot disk and I am playing with it, but at the moment, it is not looking promising. Apparently the hard drive done got itself frazzled, or something. Beth has worse luck with hardware than I do.
Two ideas for short stories for next week. I'm thinking that if I write both of them (not by next week) I might consider going the self-publishing route as I think I'll have enough short stories, plus one novella, all around the theme of the Banality Of The Fantastic to justify an eBook. I know that's sort of declasse, so I'm still just playing with the idea.
In other other news, tomorrow (probably) ends my long-running D20 Modern game. I hope it ends well.
