This is the new Soundwave figure.
I am sure some TransFans are livid with rage about how their 'classic' figure has been mangled, but I certainly can't identify with or understand that sort of nerd rage. :) I think this figure rocks. Soundwave rules. Totally.
He's also an avatar of Baal. Really!
I've got this book by Texe Marr about how just about every toy or game you ever loved is, in fact, satanic (well, he's right about the Smurfs), and he specifically singles out Soundwave (the original 1980s Transformer) as being an incarnation of Baal.
He's SERIOUS. Really. He is.
I'm not sure if rockin'-guitar-Soundwave is the incarnation of any specific demon, or not. I should see if the author has email and ask him.
