Today's out-of-context excerpt from The Novel:
The HAPC slammed into the ground like...well...like a multi-ton vehicle which no longer floated on a concentrated field of "Nuts To You, Sir Isaac Newton".
In other Lizard news: Uhm, well, that is most of the Lizard news. Took Banshee into the vet to get her stitches out. Found a bug in my multithreading code that causes it to crash if running only one thread. Went to see Juno recently; enjoyed it, despite the fact that the 'realistic' dialog sounds desperately staged, like someone wanted to outdo Joss Whedon. (Whedon didn't bother trying to imitate real teen slang; he just made up his own, and it worked so well people copied it...mostly older people trying to sound hip.)
New Galactica tomorrow! Yay!
New Doctor Who on about the 18th! Double Yay!
