April 28 - flight to arrive in LaGuardia, NYC, in evening
    Check into hotel in Long Island City
    Dinner at Flushing, NYC - ¹øQ´º

April 29 - day at the MET
    Arrive at the MET @ 10:40am, left @ 4:20pm
          lunch in cafeteria
          not enough time for all exhibits
    Arrive at Empire State Building @ 4:55pm, left @ 6:50pm
          wanted to wait for sunset, but too early
    Dinner at Little Italy @ 7:30pm
          busy streets at night
          good desserts

April 30 - day with Lady Liberty
    Arrive at Battery Park @ 11am
          good view of Statue of Liberty from park
          get ferry tickets from Castle Clinton, then get in line for ferry-crossing
    Arrive at Liberty Island @ 1:30pm, departed @ 4pm
          lunch at cafe
          went up to Statue
    Walked up to Wall St. and Ground Zero from park
          Trinity Church
    Arrived at Mid-Town @ 6:30pm for dinner - ¶äîU
          went through Grand Central Station

May 1 - Guggenheim, UN, Brooklyn Bridge
    Arrive at Guggenheim @ 11:45am, left @ 12:30pm
    Arrive at UN Plaza @ 1:50pm, left @ 4pm
          guided tour every 15-30 minutes
    Arrive at City Hall @ 4:20pm, left @ 5:20pm
          walked across Brooklyn Bridge
    Arrive at Chinatown @ 5:30pm for dinner

May 2 - Central Park, 5th Ave, Time Square
    Arrive at 72nd entrance of Central Park @ 11am, left at 12:10pm
          The Lake, Bow Bridge, Alice in Wonderland statue, Bethesda Fountain
    Arrive at Payard for lunch @ 12:30pm, left at 1:45pm
          good French pastries
    Arrive at 5th Ave & 51st @ 2:10pm
          FAO Schwartz, Harry Winston, Henri Bendel, Tiffany, etc
          St. Patricks Cathedral
          passed Rockefeller Center, Radio City Hall
    Arrive at Time Square @ 6:45pm, left @ 8:30pm
          Toys R Us, M&M World, NBA Store, ESPN Zone

          waited for night lights

May 3 - Yale, Boston

          lunch at Yorkside Pizza
          main campus, old campus, New Haven Greens, East Rock, Hamden
    Arrive at Boston chinatown @ 5:30pm, left @ 7:30pm
          lobster dinner - ×í­‚˜Ç
    Arrive at hotel @ 8pm

May 4 - Freedom Trial, Boston Duck Tour
    Arrive at Harvard Square @ 11:30am, left @ 12:40pm
          drove along Storrow Drive/Memorial Drive along Charles River
    Arrive at Museum of Science for Boston Duck Tour @ 1pm, left @ 2:40pm
          land and water tour of Boston
          parking for 6+ hours, $16.75
    Arrive at Legal Seafood, Long Wharf @ 3:10pm, left @ 4:45pm
          claimed best New England clam chowder
    Start Freedom Trail from Quincy Market @ 4:50pm, end at USS Consitution @ 7:10pm
          only went to part of Boston Commons
          passed by North End, Italian-side
    Back at Museum of Science @ 7:30pm, left at 8:45pm
          exhibits on natural science, mathematics, physics, etc.

May 5 - Newport, RI
   
    Begin driving to Newport from Boston @ 10:30am
    Arrive at Rosecliff @ 12pm, left @ 1:25pm
          went through Newport downtown, Rough Point
          guided tour for about 45 minutes
    Lunch at Flo's Clam Shack, Middletown @ 1:40pm, left at 2:30pm
          fried clams, clam cake
          right on Easton Beach
    Arrive at Marble House @ 2:45pm, left @ 3:40pm

    Arrive at The Breakers @ 3:50pm, left @ 4:45pm

   Arrive NYC LaGuardia Airport Avis Car Rental Return @ 10:30pm
   Arrive NYC LaGuardia Airport @ 11pm
         Stayed the night on airport benches

May 7 - NYC, Cleveland, SFO

    Check-in @ 4am at Continental counter
         Breakfast at Au Bon Pain, leftover CPK pizza and Krispy Kreme donut
    Boarded plane to Cleveland, Ohio @ 6am     
          Arrived @ 8:15am
         Breakfast at Burger King
    Notify of delay in Cleveland @ 9:30am, second notice @11am
          Got bumped off plane @ 12pm
          Got ~$70 meal vouchers, new plane tix, ticket vouchers, drink vouchers
          Lunch at The Cafe in airport
          Napped, played games, read, bougth chocolate
    Boarded plane to SFO @ 7pm
    Arrived in SFO @ 10pm
