I don't have time to blog in detail about it just now, but we got back from Malawi just now and had an amazing trip!
We trained 254 pastors on Saturday and I videotaped interviews with people who had been healed of AIDS, a woman who was raised from the dead, and numerous women who were told by doctors they'd never have children, even after repeated trips to see witch doctors... God is more powerful indeed!
Sunday, Etna and I went to a church in Lilongwe and I preached my heart out for 90 minutes and they were upset I could not carry on for at least another hour.
Pity Americans don't like it when I preach that long :)
Monday and Tuesday were spent by Lake Malawi at a waterfront lodge... each morning we'd have some excellent coffee and watch the monkeys play in the grass in front of the restaurant area.

How exciting for you and Etna! I would like to hear more details but it sounds like you summarized it well.
And yes a 90 minute sermons seems very very long. An hour more, how could I take that?
It is just a different culture. If I had to travel by foot or it took me hours to get to church, I imagine I would be like them though, 30 minutes would not be enough. I expended too much energy for that.
Do try to interview witnesses to the healings and raisings, if you get a chance. It is harder to dismiss a well-corroborated story. I know - I used to be an awesome fisherman... and it was THIS BIG!!!
