new year again?

it is really astonishing to think that it is now 2006.  it seems like we were just panicking about the y2k bug and stocking up with extra green beans and peanut butter "just in case."  but apparently that was 6 years ago... sometimes it makes me sad when i think about the rate at which life travels.  but if that is how God intended it then i should celebrate the pace which this life dictates.  whatever my feelings may be about the fleeting days around us- i am absolutely thrilled with the Lords direction in my life and I could not be more thankful for the people he has put into it nor the places He has shown me.  So as we all embark on another year of agdventure together I want to say thank you; thank you to my friends for encouraging me, to my family for supporting me, to my wife for loving me, and to Jesus for not giving up on me.  have a great year everyone.

in other news...i was able to spend a few vacation days in Seoul over the break.  i had a great time with jaci.  here are some pics:

this is the cross outside of the Yoido Full Gospel Church

Oldest brick church in Seoul (Myeongdong Cathedral)

anyway- we had a great time.  i'm blessed to have someone awesome like Jaci to spend my down time with.

Its nice to see Ms. Loween, well atleast her back.  I used to see her almost twice a day, and you, well countless amounts of times.  Can't wait to see you!

Oh, yes, Y2K.  I remember curling up in my brother's bed in the basement.  That seemed pretty safe to me.  Then I woke up, and shokingly we were all alive.  Very cruel joke.

sweet pics man.  i especially like your new tagline.  brought back a lot of memories of watching tv with the parents when i was young.  did i ever tell you that a friend of mine from college was on one of those kid game shows and her celebrity partner was paul from the wonder years?

Honey,

Nice job on the writing...I could say I didn't know you had the gift of writing in you, but that would be a lie. I just don't get too see all that oftern.

From your sight I have learned something about teaching: I just have to teach my students how to find things that fill them with passion to write about since that seems to be what helps you to write so well on certain subjects!
