No pictures, just text.
I'm at work writing this and listening to Satellite Sisters online. There's not much to do except keep a few things updated every 15 minutes. I brought some magazines with me to try and do some cutting for collage but haven't got into that yet because I have a minor headache from not eating anything until 3:30 this afternoon. I went and got Mr. C. a Subway sandwich for his lunch but couldn't stomach one of those myself. He's on Weight Watchers. He lost 6.8 pounds last week.
I don't have any pictures today since I'm not on my computer. Don't you hate blogs without pictures???? I do. OK, I'm out a here. Hope your week coming up is a good one.

Hello my blogging friends and family. I haven't blogged since last Friday. I kept thinking I would drop in but I was waiting until I had some pics to post along with my writing. I still don't have any pics so my writing will have to suffice. Not much has been going on. I haven't worked since Sunday so I should have got a lot of other things done. We rented a big ole truck and moved my bedroom furniture. I've got it set up in the room except for the highboy. We need some help moving it from the garage. My stepdaughter will be here (with one of her 3 dogs, that will be 5 dogs in our house) this weekend so maybe she can help us move it. Of course a new bedroom suit required new bedding. Ooopss.. teehee... This is what I just ordered. For some reason I had "a hankering" for a quilt. I love the colors in this. I think I will use cream colored sheets with it.
For some reason I'm really being drawn to shabby chic'ish / bohemian'ish again. I go through phases in decorating and I've been in this kind of traditional/contemporary phase for a while now. The purchase of this quilt will have to lead to a redecorating of the bathroom too. The vicious circle of decorating.
I'm still reading Neal Gaimain's American Gods. I'm enjoying it but it's not my usual read.

One of my all time favorite artist and songs. I think this is pretty appropriate for the Halloween season. Enjoy....

Me, myself and I....
I worked last night. We had a training session for some new audits. It was a good night. I'll be working tonight too. I'm going in a 4:00. 4 till 8. I love working 4 hours. Perfect length of time.
I ended up having to rent a truck to get the furniture that I've bought home. We wanted to rent a pickup but of course they didn't have any available so I ended up getting a 10 ft. truck at Budget. A little overkill for only a bedroom suite but oh well. We're going to pick the truck up tomorrow at 5 and move the furniture. Since I'm getting new furniture I would kind of like to paint the room too. We'll see.
I had to take a picture of myself to put in the Oddart journal that I'm working in. The owner had requested a picture of each person who worked in it. I hate my pictures so I cheated and just showed a little bit of me.
The trees in my front yard have so many berries on them. I guess you'd call them berries. Does anyone know what kind of trees these are?
Today is a gorgeous sunny day. It's a little too cool for me but this weekend is supposed to be warmer. I'm working tomorrow and Sunday 8-4 so I won't get to enjoy they weather very much.
Hope you all have a happy weekend. Stay safe and tell someone you love them.

Is it Monday already?
I worked all weekend at my job. I had problems with the software we are using and made a total mess of everything that I did. I was so frustrated that I ended up having a meltdown last night. But my super supervisor was wonderful about it all and made me feel like it wasn't really all my fault and that I wasn't totally stupid. I hate not being able to do things perfectly. Yes, I'm a cursed perfectionist. I think I've always been and always will be. I wish I could have an exorcism of this part of my personality.
I'm going to look at some bedroom furniture this afternoon that I found on Craigslist. It's a Queen Anne set with a highboy, dresser, king size bed and rails and 2 nightstands. They are asking $750 OBO. Is this a good price? Sounds pretty good to me if it's in good condition. Right now I have a wicker set that I bought 11 years ago. I'm so tired of it and it collects dust in the little crevices. We are trying to "de-dust" the house because of our allergies.
I started reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman today. I've heard lots of good things about it from the Oddarts bunch.
Talk to you later.
