Peruvian Daffodil are mid summer flowers. These are white fragrant flowers with green stripes. They consists of 6 petals and a
large cup with projecting stamens.
They are noteworthy for their intricate designs and fragrance. Recently I found them in my home garden, and they got my attention, hiding among the other sweet
smelling plants. And then I picked them up and placed them in the front row so everyone can
see them in full bloom.
The reason why they are both known as " Peruvian daffodil" and "Spider
lily" is because of the fact that their attractive, showy flowers
resemble both daffodil and lilies so they are called by this reference. Its a summer loving flower bud and they do well grown in pots and
containers. This plant need a lot of care
.

Some common names include
Spider Lily,
Basket Lily,
Ismene,
Summer Daffodil,
Sea Daffodil.

Spider Lilies are one of my favorites. I'll be planting some in my gardens for sure!
It's really amazing how you're able to photograph these pictures so nicely - so that the beauty of it is even more illuminated when the moment is captured.
How are situations in Pakistan by the way? Heard there was lots of commotion going on and political instability.
@DesiFlyGurl00 -
Awe...
Yes, you have done justice with my photos, a beautiful comment. You have reminded me of something.Well, but in my opinion this is not my best work, I'll show you, (if recently I got some time,) my best ever photos. Thanks for a beautiful comment by a beautiful you..
If you are asking about political situations about Pakistan, then its getting worst. This is what I read everywhere in newspapers, seems to me everyone is against others. Well dont know much as due to some reasons, I take less interest in politics May be I am not satisfied the way, "most respected" people of our Goverment acting like a lunatic.
Sorry for the disappointment.
aw, thats so cute. just kidding. i don't know, i haven't been able to sleep for the past three weeks because of them. they are the worst kind guest. they don't pay rent, they leave a mess and they suck your blood. They can live 12 months without food. :(
I woke up at 430 today. ;(hopefully this will all be over soon. how long have you had khutmul?beautiful!
These are gorgeous!
Thanks for the comment! It really would be lovely to be things of nature... Like that plant! Green sceneries of trees and flowers are really so beautiful to the landscape of what the world is made of, ey? ;]

@maniaxx - Thanks, but the praises are to you photographing them.
As for Pakistan, it's been hectic from what I've been hearing. I'm orginally from Nowshera, Pakistan - not too far from Mardan + Peshawar and I heard that it's absolutely out of control there - with the puktoons rule versus the government. It's a pity that so many innocent police officers are suffering due to insignificant matters. It's very out of control from what I heard. I hope everything works out for the better before a civil war breaks out - which would be terrible considering there are nuclear weapons.
Those are so pretty! I wonder if I could get some to grow in my yard.
I may have said this before but your pictures are amazingly beautiful.

Hello Ms. Rabia,
You worked hard to make your site so simple yet elegant. The pictures are a nice touch. I see that you have a wide variety of interests and observations here!
I’m sending an important message to people about God’s plans for us that is in the Bible: "And those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be bewailed, neither will they be gathered up or be buried. As manure on the surface of the ground they will become." (Jeremiah 25:33) (YLT)
Thanks for that big "aaah". Lol. And will you be updating soon? Your pictures are really nice and I want to see more! :]
