So my mom put a deposit on a place yesterday I guess. I THINK this is the place she said she reserved http://www.uofahousing.com/index.php?module=OpenRealty&func=display&or_hid=19. Not particularly fancy but the guy who was living there before lived there for 4 years and is/was a med student. The landlord is gonna make some changes between the time when the last person moves out and I move in (change the sinks and the countertops I think). My mom and I are gonna go out and buy furniture at some point (dunno when) so I'm sorta excited about that. Yay my own place! I really hope I can get internet there but I'm not sure if that's possible at the moment. How sad.  What am I gonna do without internet?? I'll just stay at school forever and ever using the internet at the library I guess. I can't wait to move in! We're even gonna get a futon for visitors.  we'll probabyl pick up a desk like the one my sis has and some other things as well which I can't wait to pick out. Yay for being able to choose my own furniture and having a big enough closet for all my clothes (I don't really have that much but the closet is small) and having enough room for all my crap (again, I don't really have that much but this room is pretty small). *sigh* coming in to the end of the semester. I can't wait to be done! Too bad there's so much crap to finish off... |
