• So, last night, I went out to dinner to Applebee's with Katie, Sarah-KT's friend, CJ and Kristen in honor of Sarah turning 25.  We were all pretty hungry and we finished off most of our dinners, an appetizer sampler and desserts.  Sarah's was free b'c of her birthday.  So, they sang to her, which never seems to get old, in my book.  Our bill came out to be close to 90 dollars, pretty damn expensive, but what do you expect from a Long Island restaurant?  The prices here seem to be getting higher every time I come home for a vacation.  If I didn't love these places so much, I wouldn't shop there anymore or eat there anymore.  That's one of the few things I DON't miss when I'm up in cow country, the guarantee that, wherever I go, I will be spending money.

  I know I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss LI when I was away.  I miss Barnes and Nobles, now more than ever since it was expanded and completed with a Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory and cafe inside the store.  Fascinating.  I could seriously spend an entire day there, just browsing, reading, eating, listening to music, whatever.  I miss the business, the crazyness.  And I don't care how much I say my family annoys the crap out of me, I miss them, too.  It's the gayness in me causing it, whatever.

  OK, so enough of this.  I'm off to check the myspace and email, then who knows?..
