An amusing horoscope for tomorow, ironic since I will be watching CM during the day til Saturday morning.  It's not exactly how I'd like to be spending my time, but I really have nothing else, other than the book, which is coming along nicely.  Due to my rut the past few weeks, I doubt I will make my Aug. 9th deadline, but it shouldnt take that much longer to get it all written out.  Realistically, I'm looking to start the editing the first week of September.

So moving on.  These past few days have been... interesting.  Friday night was spent writing since Kris had to stay home with her family.  It's weird, considering her family to mine.  My parents rarely see all five of their children home at once, never mind at the same dinner table  I guess at this stage in life, they're pretty used to it.  Kris is forced to stay home on certain days, probably because of her lil sis, whereas my parents just dont care anymore.  Albeit they do care enough to ask where we are, or where we are going, they dont really care if we are not at home everyday.  I guess, in my family's case, that is because we have one guaranteed day a week where we see pretty much everyone.  Sunday at Mama's is family time.

Saturday was spent primarily at the GC pool to see Kat.  I forgot how much I miss spending time w/ her.  I guess after so long of not hanging out w/ someone, you forget how much fun they are.  And albeit there was a little drama -when the hell isnt there?- we made it through the day pretty nicely.  Night I had dinner w/ Tiffany and Andrew, which was nice.  We did a lot of reminscing, which I figured would be the bulk of our conversations.  In the hours preceding that dinner, I found my nerves bouncing a bit, wondering just how much of our 'falling out' in 05 I had recovered from.  To be honest, I wasnt entirely sure as I recalled the days following the end of Andrew and later, the end of Tiffany.  I wasnt even sure going into Friendly's, but as I sat there, speaking to them, I felt familiarity pushing me on and I found myself having a good time.  So, that was that.

Sunday was Mama's and a little surprise, Kat got to come w/ us!  So that was really nice.  I went in the ocean for the first time all summer and got a lil color -as an Irish girl is permitted to get without tanning creams or a salon.  Yesterday was spent in NYC, as I went and met w/ another agency.  I read mixed reviews on Careerbuilder, so we will see what happens.  In the meantime, I will continue to do what I'm doing and will see what happens.

Today was really not a good day at all, except that I got a lot of writing done.  I had wanted to go see Kat simce I will not have time to do it tomorow and will not see her until she gets back from her cruise.  Later, I had wanted to see Claire, but got caught up in chores, dinner and, of course, the thunderstorm that we were waiting for all day.  So, I'm sorry to both Kat and Claire.

Ok, well seeing as how it almost 1130 and I am pretty tired, I will stop here.  A little more writing for the night, some packing and some reading and I will pass out, if only for a few hours.  With this heat, how can anyone sleep for longer than that?
