  • Brooks' surgery went well.  Boy am I glad THAT is over!!  I think it was more traumatic for me than for him though.  He was SO MAD when he woke up from the anesthesia.  Poor guy.  He was screaming and hitting and throwing his head back and trying to pull the IV out of his arm.  He did that for almost 45 mintues!  When the finally took the IV out he settled down a little bit but Andy had to hold him because while he was throwing such a fit I could barely hold on to him...he's strong!  When we got home he ate a little and then took a long nap.  When he woke up from his nap it was like nothing had ever happened!  He's been doing fine ever since.  That was on Thursday.  Friday night was the wedding rehearsal for the wedding he was in this weekend.  He was a bell ringer.  I think it might be a southern thing but bell ringers walk down the aisle just before the bride and ring bells to let everyone know the bride is about to arrive.  I was nervous about what would happen but he did SO WELL!  There were about 8 of them, most of them 3 and 4 year olds.  Brooks was the youngest.  He didn't exactly ring his bell but he did walk down the aisle!  TOO CUTE!  Here's a picture I managed to get while holding Liv.  (that's why it's a little fuzzy) He's the littlest one holding the other little boy's hand.

Here he is with Erin and Thomas...the bride and groom.

And here's the four of us.  (this one cracks me up cause it looks like Olivia is about to bop Brooks on the head!)

Well, that's all for now.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
