*********************NEWEST AUDIO AND TEXT BLOG ENTRYInsights and Instruction from MichaelHELLO DEAR VIEWER,
MY NEWEST AUDIO BLOG ENTRY:Here is the latest recording I have posted for you:
I have posted an audio blog on my Xanga site. It’s a track from a recording I made with my friend and clooeague, Ani Ahava in my studio. We came into the studio and created a new genre we called "spirit music." We made no plans, we simply sat down and let spirit "speak" through us. Thus, we were channels for the music which spirit wished to convey through us. the result is the CD, Spirit Music. I hope you enjoy this track from this very restful, peacful, and uplifting little CD, The track is called "Lullabye" and features not only impromtu, spirit-music, but singing in a special "spirit language" which seemed to leap out of us.
I guess the above-mentioned "spirit-music" was a little like speaking in tongues. Now I am by no means evangelical, and I am quite universal in my spirituality (I think it's all the same God). Yet what can I say? This spirit language lept out of my friend and I when we got into the studio and started recording! "Singing in tongues" is not just for conservative pentacostals, I guess, but for liberal, universal, new-pradigm sorts like me, too.
Just goes to show you that God is much bigger and all encompassing than we think!
Enjoy....

MY NEWEST TEXT BLOG ENTRY:Everyone can Create and Express themslevesEven if they do not Consider themsleves "Artistic"Here are my thoughts on this subject:In the words of Ruth Gordon, playing Maude in the great movie "Harold and Maude"... "Everyone needs a little music in their life..." same for all the arts... I don't think it matters how "talented" we are. We should just "Make a joyful noise, the Lord won't mind!" (Not sure here that quote came from!) It doesn't matter if our paintings look like finger paintings or we croak like a frog... We must not let anyone tell us we can't sing or paint or anything else artistic. We must just express and know that in God's eyes, we, our creations and our expressions are beautiful.
