| | I woke up this morning with a rather painful sinus headache to discover
the house's apparent ice-age-like state. Freezing, I hobbled down
the stairs and nearly fell back asleep eating my cereal. After
mum declared I was staying home today, Quinn suddenly developed one of
those two-second headaches, screwed his face up in pain, and howled
about how cold it was. He told mum he had "the same thing
[Adrienne has]" and, what's more, asked mum why *I* get to miss
school today if I also missed karate yesterday.
D'oh. So, mum left. Dad's letting Quinn stay home.
And ever since the buses passed, he's been bounding around the house in
a tshirt and purple boxers like our house is in the tropics or
something, headache suddenly cured, while I'm huddled here at the
computer under a sweatshirt and a blanket.
And daaamn, my date can't go to Winter Ball. *Sad*
