Lately I learned  that it doesn't take much to make me happy.  The other afternoon, Quincy called and asked if I wanted a date.  Of course I said yes!  That means no cooking, right?  So, we proceeded to go to Dublin to do one of my very favorite things...flower shop.  I bought 6 new azeleas for the front, a 6-pack of begonias for a basket, 2 tomato plants, and a beautiful Gerber daisy.  Plus we ate out!  What fun!

The NEXT day, Quincy took me to a quilt show in Macon.  Oh, what beauty I did behold!  I now think that I do not know the least thing about quilting... I must be making colorful rags to give away.  Some of those quilts were just amazing.  I know I probably just walked around the room with my mouth open drooling. (Bet they knew I was from Central GA!).   There were some absolutely gorgeous quilts there!  Here are a few pictures for you to see:

Well, this past Thursday, Quincy took me to see a favorite person of mine!  Our Eli!   I just love to hear that dear sweet voice saying "Grandpa" or "Mama D".  It just thrills my soul.  Anyway... I have several good pictures of him to post too.  I always HAVE to have a camera ready when he's around .  You just never know when you might get him to sit still long enough to get a good picture.  We had a wonderful afternoon visiting with the family and left smiling with memories.  I really think my face hurt from laughing at him so much.  He would go hide and then call "Help, Grandpa!".  Quincy would have to get up to go find him to "help" him.  We took him a bubble blower that ran off batteries.  He went all through the house on his tricycle blowing out bubbles.  Used up the whole bottle of bubbles at once;  glad we bought extras.  April said that when they were coloring eggs the next day, he'd crack one and tell her the egg was hatching....  Has he got an imagination.  There is NOTHING like spending the day with a child!  Nothing that can warm your heart or bless your soul anymore.  I can hardly wait for Daniel to find the person the Lord has prepared for him and start having me little ones to love.  Hope he reads this!!!  But...I'm not rushing him or anything..  Here's a few pictures of the sweet boy....

He ate all of the Peeps except for 4.  Sometimes 2 at a time! Isn't he a doll...

Yesterday we went to church and left to spend time with family in Wrightsville.  We had a good time eating and fellowshipping together.  We have a wedding coming up soon and we all are looking forward to having Randall join the family.  He seems to be a really nice guy and seems to adore Jennifer.  We came  home to spend a short time with some neighbors.  The Lord couldn't have given us any more beautiful weather or a nicer day. I may be wrong, but I just really believe that the actual Resurrection Day could have not been any prettier.  Yesterday was absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful day to spend thinking about our risen Lord and Savior.

Yes, I have been blessed in the past few days!
