  • That big gap in the American southeast is disturbing and should be rectified soon.

  • Hi,

I just found out (from your boyfriend) that you know a history prof of mine well... Jay Case.  I had him for several classes and got to hear plenty of Africa stories from him.

The world is quite small, isn't it?  With the Internet, I'm beginning to think that almost everyone in the world could be connected by six degrees or less.

    Weird.

  • I went to Zaïre when I was 8 or 9 for a week or so. We knew a family at Rethy. In my mind, Rethy is (er...was) like RVA minus most of the modern American-ness. There seemed to be a smaller gap between the missionaries and the Zaïrian people.
