• oops, another weekend disappeared while my back was turned...and the bathroom saga continues...did i mention yet that i haven't taken a shower in my own apartment in three weeks? as some of you have seen, my bathroom is a bit sketchy. Sure, I've used sketchier facilities in the past, but usually in the context of adventuring. I'm paying enough rent to have a functional shower and a ceiling to prevent mysterious fragments from appearing in my tub every morning. This morning as I was trying to wake up, I heard men's voices outside. I wasn't quite following the discussion, but I didn't want me sleeping in to be their latest excuse in the growing list of why stuff isn't done yet. Then on my way out to my car, the contractor stopped me and explained to me for like 15 minutes why stuff isn't getting done and how it's not his fault. The new issue is that the gas line person he asked to run the gas lines to move the water heater refused to do it because the crawl space under the house is so cramped. I'm trying to be patient, trying not to complain about people. I'm not doing it very well, am I?
