The time is getting close for my departure to Ireland and I am stressing about packing for the trip. Not the long overseas flight, not the mission itself, not how unprepared I am for "leading" the crafts when I have no ideas and no supplies. The packing - actually choosing the items to take and putting them in a suitcase.
Do I need a new suitcase? Will it meet FAA regulations? Which 3 items do I want to put in my 3-ounce bottles for carry-on? Will my carry-on meet FAA regulations? Will they confiscate my contact solution if it's 4 ounces? What about my deodorant? It's a gel - does that count as a liquid and will it go against the 3-item rule? Will the hotel we're staying in have shampoo? If so, I don't need to take it in my carry-on......
I swear, I'm losing sleep over this. It wouldn't matter if I didn't have to pack a "day bag" for our first day there. But I'm trying to decide what is necessary and what can go on to the host family's house. [I won't even go into the nightmare of prescriptions that expire while I'm gone but have too many left to fill before I leave.]
Did I mention we're going on vacation this week? And that I'll have to unpack. launder and repack as soon as I get home? For two of us? Going international?
Any suggestions for you international travelers out there would be so appreciated - I might even send you a postcard!
Meanwhile, here's the link to our trip. It will be updated by us while we are gone, with pictures posted and blogs daily.

I think I need your prayers more before I go than I will while I'm there. So, pray for me! Love you all!
