• while watching the fireworks tonight,

  did you think of me?

  i felt a little lonely tonight,

  not having you there again

  by my side.

  did you know that

  your smiles that night

  was brighter than the fireworks,

  and prettier then the stars in the summer night sky ?

  i feel so lucky

  getting to share

  a night of fireworks with you.

  and please forgive me,

  for i was such a fool

  in letting you go.

  and i will not forget the beauty

  of that night's fireworks,

  because you were once there

  watching it with me.
