An Apple A Day Keeps Bill Away

You all know I'm an Apple lover, so this shouldn't be any surprise, but I dug up some of the old Apple crap from way back when. I thought someone might find it interesting...

This is the famous "1984" Apple Macintosh ad, which ran only once during the 1984 Super Bowl. Besides its stunning (during its time) graphics, it had a powerful message, and was expertly directed by Ridley Scott. It is often considered to be one of the most influential and/or best commercials of all time and has won numerous awards.
You can watch it here: http://www.uriah.com/apple-qt/movies/Apple.1984.mov [13.1 MB QuickTime]

And here's something you don't see much anymore. At the time, Apple's computers were considered so widely to be superior to every other option available that even Bill had something nice to say about the Macintosh.
You can watch it here: http://www.moriaritys.com/video/vids/billy.mov [4.2 MB QuickTime]

That's it. Kind of a random post, I know. Whatever.
