Lollapalooza was a no-go kids. But that's just fine, because, just like every other day in Virginia this year, it rained. And it didn't rain just a little bit, it poured for a while with all the thunder and lightning that goes along with it. Isaac drove over to my house, still in his "pajamas", and decided that we needed to watch movies for a while. So he invited himself in, and woke me up. It's rather unpleasant to have him be the first thing you see when you wake up. No offense buddy, I'd just rather wake up to something prettier, haha. He brought over the rest of the "Godfather" box set, which we never finished wathcing. Watched most of the trailers and commentaries, when suddenly we got bored. So, in some weird situation of despairation and simply being bored, we actually watched three, thats right three episodes of the kind of strange, kind of funny reality show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy". Yes, quite strange people, but in some way, quite funny and fresh. Like Will says,"Sam/Isaac/Paul, if I didn't know any better and I didn't know how much you all love women, I would say that you were all gay. You are way too cool and cultured to be straight...haha". Well, no Will, we aren't gay; but watching that show made us feel a little strange. So, we went for a little joy ride.
Drove over to Dyl's house, Isaac still in his pajamas, me now in my regular clothes. It was still raining cats and dogs. Ended up helping Dyl write a "break up" letter to his long distance girlfriend. He has been using that "area code" theory and now he feels guilty (area code being that if you have two girlfriends in two different area codes, it's not cheating. Sorry buddy, it's still cheating, but whatever). He confessed everything and told her it was over. Bad times for Brittany; she's going to be pisssssed off, like whoa.
Finally drove to the SunCom place, picked up a new-new phone, with better battery life. It's hott stuff. A little tiny Nokia with a big color screen. Much hottness. Thanks to everyone who responded on that silly little "fill in the blank" thing. I know it was kind of juvenile, but that's ok. I just wanted to see what everyone had to say. I got responses ranging from the "zoo" to "sex" and everything in between. Interesting to say the least. Went out tonight. Saw the new "Tomb Raider" movie. It was, ummm, how to put this lightly, rather iffy. It really didn't have any plot, but it's cool, I still had lots of fun. Saw a lot of people too, like Robyn, Corey and Torey, and some girl, who's name now escapes me, whom I haven't seen in like four years. Yet, strangely enough, she remembered me.
Parting is such sweet sorrow, fools. I am going to jet. I just got home a few minutes ago, so I am going to finish my Frappucino and finish talking to some people before I do like a banana and split (wow, how corny). Found my old Duck Hunt a few minutes ago. Now, I must got find that damn Mr. Quack-Quack and splatter his brains all over my television screen. More Later, Much Love, Poor Mr. Ducky...
