• A Mix Up and Some Bad News

  After waiting all week to hear from our doctor regarding Megan's thumb x-rays, I called the clinic yesterday leaving a message (because that is all you can do these days) to please contact us with the results of the x-rays, so we would know if Megan's thumb is broken or not.

  Today they called back saying they had never received the report from Phoenix Children's Hospital, and we should call there and tell them to fax the report over.

  The upshot of that call was, they can't release the report unless we go down there and pick it up in person.  This would be because they didn't give me the proper release form.  SIGH.

  So Paul is driving over to central Phoenix, in rush hour traffic, to get the dad-gum report.  At least we will know what the story is by the end of today.

  In other news, Paul spent 3 hours in court this morning with our godson, David, for his sentencing.  He got caught stealing a radio off the seat of an unlocked car through the open window.  While on parole.  Now he is going away for 2.5 years.  His older brother Carl is already serving 5 years... it's a very sad day for that family, and they could really use your prayers... for David and Carl while in prison, and for the rest of the family at home.   Our goddaughter Lisa is the youngest and heading into her junior year in high school.  Please pray for her to stay out of trouble and graduate... it's not easy in that family, or the neighborhood.
