Could someone please inform Bill that The Biggest Loser Workout DVD becomes pointless when SOMEONE in the house makes chocolate cake with hot fudge icing and vanilla ice cream on top, every other night.

Also, let him know that my rear will start to stick out like a baboon at the zoo, and soon enough people will be crowding around me, if he continues to make blackberry cobbler on the off nights.

You might also tell him that while cake and cobbler were helpful to create a Santa Claus persona for our dear children over Christmas, swimsuit season is rapidly approaching in the Deep South and he might need to reassess.

This is not really his gut. Just so you know.

I'd like to help you out but somehow the smell of sugar radiating from my mouth might detract from my credibility somewhat. I don't know if it's PMS or what but I've been shoveling chocolate down my pie-hole for the past six days like there's no tomorrow! o_O

Wow! He bakes cakes and cobblers??? What a guy! My husband makes soup. That might sound nice but he likes to experiment and some of his creations are less than delicious. How is your mother Tiff? Please tell her hi for me please - and I am wishing you a blessed 2006!

know the feeling... was a bday party last night and everyone brought sweets... where's the protein??? the real food??? we left early to get burgers! and i don't think abq has a swimming suit season... i think they're afraid of water here - must be that desert mentality! :)

I love this post! I wanted to say that to my mother-in-law while she was here...she is such a great cook and spends an awful lot of time in the kitchen making up the most wonderful treats. The holidays....they're almost over. Then it's on to Valentine's Day ...the month of candy, chocolate, and giant frosted cookies! YIPES!

LOL!!!! THis is true. At least I can say that I am eating for two...though that whole thing is really a myth. Ya know? :shrug: I'll take whatever excuse I can get. HAHA. Actually, I haven't done too shabby of a job - 8 lbs gained and I am 17 weeks...so that's nothing to be ashamed of, right? :)

Oh that picture of the baboon is hilarious. I didn't even bake this year, thanks to the sprained ankle, so somehow everyone took pity on us and delivered beaucoup sweets! And I'm not moving much. It's a deadly combination!
