Old Chums

I've been getting a lot of strange reports lately from the Google homing program. I already mentioned that some one other than myself Googled my name the other day.

Well also right after I posted that they were inducing Jessica's labor Tuesday, someone Googled her husbands full name.

(Get this, they googled it from Jacksonville. That means it's either one of the very few relatives I have who read this site, or one of my few old school chums who do the same. Excluding the two who have Xangas of their own, of course. The stalker would recognize them.)

So the question is who is there that has read this site long enough, or knows me well enough to remember that Rob and I are related. I can't help but be concerned that someone is that interested in me. But then I'm also paranoid, so it's probably nothing.

Speaking of old school chums, Christina Boswell is looking to buy a 94 yearbook. Too bad that I only have a 96.

Well no, even if I did I want to keep my yearbook not sell it. So I guess it's better this way. I think I remember her though. I think she was in chorus with me.

I found out that J. Messer's married name is Winebarger. I don't think I could get used to thinking of her name as being Winebarger. I've known her since fifth grade under her maiden name.

Jeeze this reminiscing is reminding me, that I've been meaning to send my favorite former teach (Sheffield) an email. Finally tracked him down around May, and I was going to do it then because I was planning a trip to ole J'ville. But then things came up and I never got a round Tuit.

I'll have to do that. Before the actual trip, if I decide to go at all.

What is this google homing program of which you speak?

I had an online stalker once.  Who actually worked for the CIA.  Now.  How's that for interesting?  (He was a civilian employee... a translator... but still!)  Come to find out, the info he had wasn't gleened in some nefarious way, but from a friend of a friend.  (The internet was a much smaller place back then, lol.)  It still freaked me the hell out, though.

I still have all my year books but I wouldn't want to sell them either. I can certainly understand why you wouldn't want to sell your one.

If it's just someone who's looking not usually a big deal. You might want to google some of you work though, and see if anyone is stealing your that.

Especially those stories on the Jimmythecricket site.

I am only in touch with one person I went to high school with. Sometimes I am glad because many of the people I went to school with were rather irritating individuals.

@warweasel - It's a program my brother aquired and installed. It tells me when someone googles my name or finds one of my articles/sites/blogs through the search engine Google.

I would asume he purchased it from Google itself.

@a8972147 - Well that's kinda the position I'm in.

Your friend, Christina,  could have my yearbook, but it is written in cuneiform on clay tablets, and is way older than the '94 yearbook she desires.
