Interesting chats with the new boytoy*...
Him: OMFG, I totally forgot about the hockey game!!! (he's a huge Habs fan)
Me: Gah! Go! Go!
Him: .... it's ok, it's over now anyway. Wow, that hasn't happened in a long time!!
Me: Aheh...
Him: You're a bad little distraction. BAD!!
Me: ... I'm not sorry. They lost anyway. If it makes you feel better though, I'm going to ruin my cool facade and tell you that I've pretty much been giggling like a moron all day.
Him: Haha... well, me too. *pause* ... except, it wasn't "giggling". Because...men... er... don't giggle. Er... well, maybe in a lower, extremely manly voice.
Me: ...I think the word you're looking for is "chuckling".
Him: Yeah, that. Chuckling. Not giggling. I was chuckling, in an extremely manly voice.
Me: Of course.
Him: Yeah.
Me:....
Him:....
*insert Seinfeld-esque, transitory baseline here* Pawm-ba-dank-dank-dwing!

So yeah, it's going pretty well for now. I'm still full of angst and emo-ness, as usual, but I'm going to focus on positive stuff, since I'm feeling pretty good these days anyhow, hahaha. We're going skating tonight, the weather permitting. Should be fun.
Also, interesting thing. One of my good (male) friends called me out on using the term "boytoy" once, because it sounded like I was objectifying men. ....
So what if I am? *grin* It's only a little bit, and it's meant in the most respectful, affectionate of ways, of course.
It's a term of endearment. In fact, there are tons of boytoys here on Xanga.
That's right. I call you boytoys in my head, and you'll never know it.
Boytoy.
*points at you*

hehe...hope the skating goes well for ya!
glad you found someone to make you giggle!
@brandi_shawn - Gaw... thanks lol. Love the profile pic, btw. Very cute, haha. ^_^
Wha? We call them guys toyboys, when they look not too revolting. And their little gadgets like cars, shaving equipment and whatever else they need for survival are their boytoys. Have a nice skating, it feels good laugh together. Do you tell us the reason?
sheesh. you and that pretty little objectifying head of yours.
*is secretly jealous*
*rolls eyes in light of the fact he just let the secret out*
damn. oh well. that's right. what did you expect? deal with it.
Showers of panties to throw at my feet - hahaha, you've got me laughing in the computer lab at school, dude.
You and the boytoy are cute, awwww =]. And to any guys who are offended by that term, just counter with the term galpal. Galpalgalpalgalpal.
@complicatedlight - I heart you too, Phil. Really. *hug*
@SUNG14 - I am merely stating fact, good sir, hee hee. *throws panties* OMG HE VISITED MY SITE AND COMMENTED, OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!1 *squeals*
^_^
lol @ boytoy! *giggles*
have fun ice-skating :)
"it's meant in the most respectful, affectionate of ways" - that's what I'm saying! I don't see why girls get so mad when I call them tw*ts!
(I was considering spelling it all out, but I thought better of it).
@MaximMan - Yeah man.. girls are so freakin' difficult.
When I'm called a boytoy, its almost always in reference to a teddy bear because "I'm soft and cuddley." I'll never understand why women want to make love to their teddy bears, but that's fine with me if they see me that way.
*snuggle-snuggle*
yay! boys are great. they really are.
on second thought, that comment lacked so much substance that its only significance is in the credits it gave you. oh well. :)
@TheBillion - Hahaha... aw, but I love it, lol. Thanks for comments either way, substantial or not. Makes me feel special, haha.
Glad things are going so well--have fun skating tonight!!
ryc: nah. it was comedic license. anyway, he probably would've called me Chinese. This was WAY back in the early 80s when ALL Asians wer Chinese.
It's objectifying men and...something else. Don't know, but that word makes me cringe.
@still_somewhere - Aww... why you gotta rain on my superficial parade? (kidding. Your objection is noted, and I shall be more careful)
@nimbusthedragon - Haha, if only I had this effect in real life.
@SUNG14 - Yeah... real life's a bitch, lol. I wish I were half as charismatic as I am in writing, personally, hahahaha.
my boyhood is not to be toyed with!
@nimbusthedragon - yay! girls are great. they really are.
on second thought, that comment lacked so much substance...let's see if i can fix it.
YAY! girls are REALLY great. THEY TOTALLY ARE!
hmmm...better.
Lucky you. I'm a bit jealous. The last time I had that whole early-in-the-relationship blissful feeling, the girl was engaged. That was a...bad idea.
(Semi-random props, btw.)
Boytoy? Um.....*facepalm*
