anyways. everything is pretty cool. there's too much to say. but basically it's fun. i'm not very good at vietnamese, but i can understand and speak some. and my dad's side of the family is so cool. even though i just met them it's felt like i've known them forever. it's a lovely feeling.

i'm gonna blog about Mitch Albom now. I just finished The Five People You Meet In HEaven and Tuesdays With Morrie. and...hmm...they were pretty interesting. The 5 people you meet in heaven was a really good book. i enjoyed the style and the flashbacks, and the pure concept of the novel. It was a fast read for me and kept me going, so I would recommend it. It really makes you think a lot and it's an intimate book where you feel close to the main character. What I didn't really like was that the book seemed a little cliche...like i knew what the next sentence would be. but it was still good.

I finished Tuesdays With Morrie today and it was alright, not as good as the other book that I read. It was more of a lecturing self-help book. I really liked the philosophies and some of the Buddhist stuff they had in there. It really reminded me of stuff and not to take things for granted. But idk...I just didn't really like the style of this one I guess that's cause I didn't really agree with everything Morrie had to say. It made me think a lot though. Because Morrie is so genuine and so real. There's not many people that you meet like that. It just feels like the world is full of cliches and busy bodies....and yeah okay i'm done (:
