I know I've said this many times, but I'm still amazed by how smart kids are. Maybe I'm just underestimating them? haha. But they just do and say the most creative, cute, and hilarious things. And I just wonder where they pick things up from? I'm still having trouble identifying the relationship between age and maturity. Because when I was like 7 I felt pretty old, but now when I think back to a kid 7 years old I think that's sooo young, like a baby! haha.
Anyways I got to hang out with Hugh today, he's 4. It was so funny. He has this fake phone....it rang and he picked up and was like "Hey! The new Transformers movie is coming out! I love the part where they do back flips, so awesome! Bye!" It's so funny how creative he can get....But then it was also very sad when I was listening to my grandma talk, and I wasn't playing with him. He was like "Play with me Jasmine! If you don't play with me you're not my friend....You're not my cousin!!" and I was like "whaaaaaat???" How does a 4 year old learn how to make cheap threats like that? It was cute and kind of sad at the same time. I know he wouldn't really mean it, but it was just funny....the concept of him saying that so that I would play with him.
and Ryan told me funny stuff about his little brother who's almost 2. Little kids do the weirdest things and have strange fascinations! I think it's hilarious how he told me that his little brother has a spanish accent cause of the day care that he goes to. Haha.
My mom said that when I was a baby I liked the theme song to MArried With Children. My parents watched that show like every night, and I guess I was jsut interested and fascinated with that song? They would watch other tv shows too regularly, but I guess this one stuck out and I noticed everytime it was on. I'd be playing or whatever in my crib, and then when the song would go on I would stop and turn to the tv and just stare at it haha.
