Pardon my absence...I've been fiercely working on lesson plans as I have about 4 weeks until school starts. Fierce! Ha...one of my vocabulary words...damn I'm good! I have nearly the first 6 weeks completed. It's a lot of work. Last year was my first year teaching 8th grade reading & English, and I wasn't completely satisfied with the lesson plans I created; so I am totally revamping my plans...tweaking...upgrading...overhauling. Revamp....overhaul...more vocabulary words! I will check in next week sometime...take care!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY SOFIA!
Yes, yesterday my 4th (and FINAL) born turned 1 year old!
She started the day by learning two new words:
"Appy bertday!"
She hasn't stopped saying it since.
We started the day out with a trip to the pool.
This is Sofia modeling Old Navy's toddler version of the tankini. Simply splendid is it not?
We also have Abigail modeling the itsy bitsy "lime green" polka-dotted bikini.
We then moved on to the "cake & party" part of the day.
Oh...and what is this?
Oh my, what is this confectionary delight? Oh, this is quite delicious! Oh, must have more, more, more!
Party over har!
Party pooper.
Yes, it was a splendid day had by all...especially the 'bertday" girl.
