•         19 We love him, because he first loved us.  1 John 4:19

          I taught my kids in Children's church about this scripture today. We also went over 1 John 3: 16:

  16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

         I have to be perfectly honest. Lately I have questioned many things. But, I can't seem to get away from God's love. He always draws me back to Him and wraps me in His arms of love. His love is such an intense love. I can't resist Him. When I'm down or hurt or question the world, He surrounds me with His love. I know that forgiveness comes through His shed blood, His love. I know that He's always there for me. He loves me so much. And I love Him because He first loved me.
