While teaching horizontal and diagonal asymptotes:

"So the thing about non-vertical asymptotes is that the graph can cross them, but you don't know whether it does unless you figure out twenty bazillion points to plot. Now, if I were to shit on you I'd make you find those twenty bazillion points, but I'm not going to. So when you draw your graph, can you draw it like this?" (draws graph without crossing asymptote, making "vwoop" sounds as he does so) "Yesssssss. Can you draw it like this?" (draws second graph crossing the asymptote, repeat "vwoop" sounds) "Yesssss. Do I care which one you do? Noooo.

"Somebody asked me yesterday, 'But how do you know how big the humps are?' I don't CARE how big the humps are, just draw the stinking graph!"

sorry. Its not that i don't wnt to take japanese, but my grades are not really good, and taking japanese would make even worse. Then I probably can't get into college, and my life would be ruined.
