| Crazy Week!Wow, this past week was pretty crazy... Steve and I decided to take a random trip to NYC because we had both never been there. We considered going somewhere else, but we thought it would be too expensive. So to make the trip as cheap as possible, we decided to drive up to CT and drop my car off at Caitlin's house, and take the train from there into the city.
We took the names and addresses of several hotels with us so that we could find a hotel as soon as we got to NYC. Unfortunately, all of the hotels were full. We went from hotel to hotel looking for a vacant room, and eventually one of the hotels let us use their business office to go onto hotels.com and look for a free room. We ended up finding a cheap place on 95th street which was a bit further from times square than we wanted to be, but we didn't have much of a choice at the time. When we finally got to the hotel, we weren't prepared for what we found. The hotel was a hostel. Our room had a bunkbed, and that was all that fit in the room. We had a community bathroom that was shared between like 8 rooms. We feared for our lives, lol!
But besides the ghetto hotel, the trip was a lot of fun. The first day we just went around looking at landmarks. We stopped at the WTC site, and then walked down to see the Statue of Liberty (at like 11 o'clock at night, probably not smart to walk that far). Then we went to a Dave and Busters which is a bar/arcade and chilled there. We ended up with enough tickets there to each get a hat and t-shirt which was pretty cool. The second day we were in the audience of the Dave Letterman show. We ended up winning those tickets by answering a trivia question the first day before we even had a hotel. It was really cool to see how the show worked and Dwayne Wade was on the show which was really cool. After that we went to see The Wedding Singer on Broadway featuring Stephen Lynch. He was definitely the perfect person for the role! It was really good!
The next day we went back to CT and went to the beach and watched movies with Caitlin. Carol and Lauren also came down and hung out with us for a while. Interesting and confusing night, haha...
Since then we've just been chilling, went mini golfing, played poker, brought out the old Magic cards and made decks for fun, lots of stuff! But I really need to start packing, so I'll probably be working on that a bit for the next couple days.
Last exciting news....when coming back tonight there was a toad right next to my car! We've never seen toads in Harrisburg before, so it was really cool. It had crazy patterns on its skin and it just looked really cool. I kinda wanted to keep it as a pet, lol.

| Back in HarrisburgSo visiting my sister in Ohio was fun...
Let's see, what'd we do...went to a candy shop, oh was the chocolate good! We went to the zoo in Columbus... Besides that just hung out a bit... the only other real exciting thing was that the sewage pipes got blocked so we had to drive to stores to use the bathrooms for a while!
Oh, and of course, dollar store ties! What a great invention! Actually, the one tie I would have probably paid a lot of money for cause I really like it! The dollar stores in Ohio apparently actually have some really quality stuff!
World Cup started and my new team is Trinidad/Tobago. I think that is their name, lol. They are the smallest team to ever qualify for the World Cup, and they were able to tie Sweden in the first game, pretty sweet! That was while only playing with 10 players for most of the second half and with their starting goalie injured...
Oh, another pretty cool thing about the World Cup is that Ghana is playing tomorrow, and I actually have a Ghana soccer t-shirt, so I'll actually get to wear it and appear cool
I think that is all for now, need sleep, U.S. plays tomorrow...

| - Total Eclipse of the HeartWhat up yo?!?!Watched the video for the Dan Band's version of Total Eclipse of the Heart, as always I found it hilarious! I actually thought of it after watching Hurra Torpedo's version which is also hilarious! In Hurra Torpedo's, the drum beat is played on kitchen appliances, such as a stove and ice box and stuff.... I've found that people react differently to it though, so if you watch it, make sure you watch it with people who have a sense of humor
What have I done lately........ we played hockey late last week for the first time in a really long time. Oh how I miss street hockey. We switched off as goalies and had a bunch of shoot outs, good times. Definitely need to get a neighborhood match going before I leave for Syracuse.
Saturday I went fishing with my dad in our little boat. It was good times. There were random turtles on a random rock sticking out randomly in the middle of the water, haha. We also chased a few ducks for a little while in the boat (although I think they can swim faster than the boat goes, lol). We caught a bunch of fish but none really big enough to make it worthwhile to keep any. I found the fish kinda funny though! Instead of trying to get off the hook or allowing you to easily take them off, instead they just watched the worm that was slightly higher on the hook than they were, and their goal was just to inch their way up and snatch the worm, lol! You should have seen their faces!
Besides that I've just been chilling, trying to figure out what I'm doing the rest of the summer. Current plans are a few trips to Baltimore to visit people (such as Shelley and Uche), a trip to Ohio to visit my sister (and stop and visit some other special people!), a trip to Connecticut to visit Caitlin and Carol (and Annie that's for Caitlin if she reads this!), possibly a trip to California and/or Atlantic City, and mini golfing with Ms. Amy Stoner! Thus it should be a busy next month, yay!
If anyone else wants to hang out, let me know! I think I'm officially leaving for Syracuse on July 6th, but then again, I won't be that terribly far away so I'm sure I'll still come back to Harrisburg every once in a while!

| I'm officially edumacated!!! :-PSo my undergraduate career is officially over! Graduation was rainy and cold, but now I have that approximately $160,000 piece of paper. Does anyone want to buy it from me? Haha, $160,000 and it is yours (I may even sell it for a little less!).
Home is good, relaxing, hanging out with the gang... played video games really for the first time in a really really long time over at Huy's apartment. 6 hours of Mario Soccer (I think it is called SuperStrikers) for gamecube. Good times. Poker. Watching sports. Just relaxing!
So I think I'm just going to stick to free online poker tournaments for now. I don't want to get back into playing it for money online all the time. It was different when I was in Baltimore and didn't know anyone, but since I'm at home it seems like a very bad idea!
Yep yep, besides that, not much new. Missing some Bucknellians, missing Chapter Camp, might buy my own some day, haha. That is all!

| No more classes at Bucknell!Well it is time for a new start... tired of letting things bother me... ready to be happy again.
I had an all-nighter Sunday night which I actually found incredibly soothing...just sat in Dana and programmed...I actually felt so much better on Monday after doing that...maybe I shouldn't be admitting this cause it is kinda nerdy but it was a good way to end my bucknell career since Monday was the last day of classes for me!
I'm still in a crazy push with work though since I have my senior design presentation later today and then two finals on Thursday (the first day of finals). However, once I get through Thursday I just have one final left and some days to relax, woohoo!
But I'm really working on being myself again, on being happy, on letting just the small things cheer me up again! It's time to be me again!
