Just a quickie.

I have a lot of pictures waiting to download-pictures of salmon tacos, making homemade ricotta, what I baked with Laura's delicious marmalade. Instead I'm eating two perfect eggs with toast and listening to the spinning hum of the washer. I'm on the bottom floor of our home. We went two days without the computer, while we cleaned, dusted, scrubbed, sorted and tossed. We aren't even close to done, but what is so far is all of the children [well, minus Ezra] are sleeping on Noah's bunk bed in the master bedroom. Slowly, the toys are being moved up, sorted, tossed/donated, cleaned and given a proper home [in the master bedroom.] The kids are enjoying toys long stored under the bed, in the closet. The computer has been moved into what was Noah's room. I now have to walk down two small flights of stairs to get connected. This way I can't hop right on, and I get a smidgen of exercise in the process. Above the computer is Selah's loft bed, waiting for guests, or perhaps toy storage. When Selah is brave enough to sleep alone, she may have the bed back, the room even, all to herself. Eric and I are currently sleeping in the living room, with our bed and furniture as well. Selah's room is getting de-toyed before we move ourselves down there. Pictures to come, eventually.

Oh. When we moved Noah's bed, I'm pretty sure we found your glasses Laura.

PS- We were treated to lunch at McDonalds the other day and when they handed us the bag at the window, Noah yells "it smells like salt and transfats!"

What
a
kid.

That goes right along with the "I'm shooting you with dioxins!" No worries about the glasses - losing them prompted me to finally got to get new ones, which were, I might add, free (with insurance). Procrastinating really doesn't do any good! I have lots of pictures to download too. And your new floor plan sounds great!

that sounds like a lot of transition, but it's such a good plan for the house. I'm excited to see the finished product (and I'm sure you are too!)
