Come to Ballet in the Park ya’lls!
What is it? A free, short
(23ish mins!!) ballet where we wear silly (embarrassing in my case)
costumes and dance to Saint-Saens (Carnival of the Animals).
When/Where?
Saturday, June 10th
2:00pm—Miller Concert Hall, or actually the amphitheatre behind
7:00pm—Riggs Park in Haysville
Sunday, June 11th
2:00pm—Sedgwick County Zoo **this one you have to pay the zoo's admissions fee to get in.

It’s spring time in my book, I don’t wait for an official date. Oh happy spring? My favorite season, who wouldn’t have guessed? Running though sprinklers at lunch brought my mood back to a spring level. I’ve decided I’m never satisfied with anything. Realizing this is some what frightening. Future plans being made, rejections, disappointments, this summer won’t be spent where I’d ended last summer hoping to, though I’m excited. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes it’s all about what kind of attitude you wake up with that morning.

I was reminded tonight why I fell in love with figure skating eight years ago.
I think I have a new Olympic dream. (Too bad the beginning dances are so boring. Can I skip to the hawt dresses?)
