Finally, 2008 is Here!

see relatedI can't believe it's already 2008! It seems like I was just starting 2007! Which was a complete whirlwind, let me tell you. I went through so much in 2007, a lot of good and a hell of a lot of the bad stuff. However, I believe the good outweighed the bad, in the end. I was fortunate enough to move into a big, beautiful home and meet a bunch of new friends. In fact, I met my best friend out of my big move. I don't know what I'd do without her, she's one of the most amazing people I know. I would do anything for her, as she would do for me. I've learned what true friendship is, not just the ones who act like you're their friend..you know what I mean.
I scored a great job at a hospital, best place to work for someone who dreams of going to medical school and being a doctor. And more importantly, I learned a lot about myself. That I don't need a guy to be happy or complete me, and I don't need people who don't have my best interest at heart. They aren't worth the drama or the stress, so I've moved on and learned how to deal with all of that. And am happy to be able to say that I know how to deal with problems better, and to think before I do - very important lesson here, take note. Believe me, you'll save yourself a bunch of trouble if you think things through, before you act on them!
Well folks, I think this concludes my little blog today. I hope that 2008 will be an even better year then 07', and that it will be a little less drama-filled. I wish all of you the best of luck with fulfilling your resolutions (stick to them, you can do it! I promise, you'll feel a lot better if you stick with it and achieve them), and having a wonderful new year.
Best wishes and God Bless,
Ashley

Sounds like 2007 was a good learning year for you! Hopefully 2008 can be just as good, if not better!
