• Doctors ARE Fun!

  This morning, my eye exam couldn't have gone better. I mean, my eyes suck, but I had a nice time talking with the doctor and learning more about her profession, etc. They put me through a series of tests, like putting something over my left eye, then my right eye, while reading this chart that was quite far away and trying to read those bottom lines were pretty tough. Most of them I couldn't. Then, she had me look through a machine so she could take a look at my eyes.

  After that, I looked through another machine where I focused on a black dot, and I had to push a button everytime I saw a white fuzzy line (it was all white around the black dot). So I did that, went back and seen the doctor and she just kept switching lenses until I can read even the bottom line on the chart. I picked out my glasses afterwards, gold frames, very nice! They'll be here in about 3 weeks, then I can go back and get my permit packet.

  So that was my day at the doctor, now for the rest of my day I went shopping and bought a new game for my Nintendo DS. "My Sims," it's a great game, I love it - and I think it's my new obsession. I haven't wanted to put it down since I started playing earlier, you know, it's almost as good as Cooking Mama...but not quite.
