• Shooting in Portsmouth, OH

  Has anyone heard about the shooting going on currently, in Portsmouth, Ohio? I'm listening to the information on it right now, and it's very scary. More and more school shootings are happening, all the time and it's so sad. Just to give you a little update, incase you don't know what's going on or all the information...

  A man shot and stabbed a teacher at Notre Dame Elementary School. It is believed that the teacher is his wife or ex-wife, and is a domestic relationship. It appears there was a restraining order against the man who shot and stabbed the teacher. A lot of information is flying around, but those are some that are going on at the moment.

  All the students are safe and none of them were hurt, they are holding counseling for them at their local Red Cross. So sadly, the 5th grade students witnessed the shooting and stabbing of their teacher - a very beloved teacher, from what is being told.

  While this is not the only shooting, just before the shooting happened at the school, another shooting took place In Portsmouth, a woman who is believed to be related to the teacher and/or the suspect. Both victims were flown to different hospitals in the state, and their conditions are unknown - except for the teacher is in critical condition.

  The man who has committed this absolutely horrific crime is in a house now, where his status is unknown - meaning whether or not he is alive. There are two swat teams surrounding his home, and EMS is on the scene. Their next move is not identified and right now, everyone is just awaiting new information on this dreadful matter.

  Let's hope and pray that there will be no more victims, and the two victims that have been subjected to this will survive this shooting. Let's hope that they can get in there and get him out, and make an arrest.
