  • Advice Column

I have always had a niche for giving advice, it's one of those things that just comes to me - something I was born with and born to do. I love helping others and have been proven to be good at it. Now, this brings me to something I'd like your feedback on, before going through with.

I have been considering starting an advice column, right here on my Xanga. You would send me your burning questions through messages or comments, I haven't decided which one yet, and I would choose so many to answer and post it here on my blog. And I would continue this weekly, or maybe so many days a week (another thing I'm not quite sure about).

As far as sending me questions, I'm thinking (that is, if this whole thing works out) that sending questions in comments isn't such a good idea. "Why?" you ask. If you post your questions in comments, everyone will know who you are. Therefore, it will not be an anonymous process - which could pose as a problem. Where if questions were sent through messages, I would be the only one seeing your question and you could tell me specifically if you want your username or a nickname posted. So you would have more options this way. But I'd like to know your opinion. Questions sent through messages or comments? Or both?

Now, this would be the biggest and most important question - Good idea or bad idea? Something to try?
