Gosh, I don't have much to update about. The house is coming along, I've been busy working on a few different projects, and I've been eating more and gaining weight. That will have to stop tomorrow.
Mack has been gone since Thursday, visiting family friends in Seattle. Things have been peaceful while she's been gone. She's due back later today.
Last night Alex and I went out to dinner (Chili's) and to Hollywood Video to rent Mean Girls. They had previously viewed DVDs, 2 for $20. We bought both Mean Girls and Napoleon Dynamite. We watched Mean Girls last night. Alex had seen it and I hadn't, and I fell asleep about 2/3 of ther way through, but I thought it was funny.
Oh, this is funny:
Mr. S was telling me the other day that he went to Kentucky Friend Chicken for lunch, and asked the person at the counter what kind of vegetables they had. The person said they had string beans, corn, and mashed potatoes. Mr. Sinsisted that mashed potatoes are not a vegetable, and a short lecture/argument/etc. ensued. According to Mr. S, KFC just "didn't get it."
Nothing else to say now.

what a good way to start the week -- with a mr. s malaprop
I saw Napoleon Dynamite last week. Not bad, but I didn't think it was worth the hype either.
I am curious as to what Mr. S's reasoning was. I'm often curious what is reasoning is. You know I think it'd be funny to have some sound bits from him.
